Thinking Like a Mountain

Imagine that you bared witness to all the animals and plants changing, disappearing but couldn't do anything about it. That's what thinking like a mountain is. Always watching never able to fix. Knowing all but not able to tell anyone.

In this story there is a man how realizes that all animals are important good and bad they keep the ecosystem in balance diversity=stability. He realizes that if you kill off all the predators the prey grows in population and everything becomes unbalanced and the ecosystem begins to fall apart. He says that if had been a mountain he would have seen it a lot earlier.

My thoughts on this paper are that he is very true and that humans need to think about the future and the past at the same time when they are making decisions. People need to think longer than their life spans. They also need to think about the other animals and plants besides humans.
